Stopping Underachievement

Has your child been classed as an underachiever? Don’t panic, there are ways to get them back on track. First, you must determine the source of underachievement. Family.com lists the possible causes of the problem and helps you find solutions. A frequent symptom of the problem is disorganization, so try to help your kid develop a study routine. The child may be facing too much or too little competition. Explain to your child that, “being the best is not as significant as doing one’s best”. Also, emphasize effort and discuss problem-solving strategies, creative-thinking processes and how to deal with failure.

Just perfect.
